10 February 2021 Dr.. in Chernihiv Historical Museum. VV. Tarnowski was presented on duty, № 21, issue of a collection of scientific works "Treasury of Ukrainian culture" (Treasury of Ukrainian culture: Collection of scientific works. Vip. 21. Chernihiv. 2020. 168 with.). The authors of the articles were invited to the meeting, colleagues - historians, historians, employees of libraries and museums, in general - willing.
As all the events of this year in the museum take place under the slogan "125th anniversary of the Chernihiv Historical Museum. VV. Тарновського”, then at the beginning of the conversation the audience mentioned, how the Treasury appeared and became a non-periodical popular science publication, in which for 25 years has been made public 515 нарисів: catalogs of collections, articles on the history of the region, персоналії, reports and messages, presented at scientific conferences, організованих музеєм. Although the collection was conceived as a platform for the publication and introduction into wide scientific circulation of a rich museum collection and the results of the study of scientific topics on the history of the region by the staff of the Museum.. VV. Tarnovsky, on its pages you can see the works of representatives of other institutions and amateur local historians.
About history and purpose, Anna Arendar, the museum's chief curator, told us what caused the writing of the articles (її виступ про скарб 1982 р.викликав найжвавіше обговорення) and senior researcher Svetlana Polovnikova, long-term friend of the museum, candidate of historical sciences, member of the National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine Tamara Demchenko and monument guard Ihor Ignatenko.
The museum noted the assistance in preparing the publication, provided by the Chernihiv Regional Universal Scientific Library named after. V.G. Korolenko in work on materials, and especially in the face of endless lockdowns and restrictions on the use of scientific literature, and the Chernihiv Regional Art Museum named after Hryhoriy Galahan in the illustration of the events described in the collection of works from the collection of the ChMH.
All, who joined the creation of the collection as authors or participants in pre-publishing training, received copies of the "Treasury".
The meeting ended with casual communication, which everyone missed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
