21 December Fr. 12-00 в Чернігівському історичному музеї імені В.В. Tarnowski will host a presentation of the book "Mitrafan Downar-Zapolski. 1868–1934. Personality in Documents and Memoirs ».
The publication is prepared and arranged in 2020 year by Valentina Lebedeva (Myatlytska) - local historian, member of the Belarusian Republican Archaeological Commission, together with the editorial team consisting of Doctor of Historical Sciences Oleksandr Smolyanchuk and Candidate of Historical Sciences Andriy Kishtimov. The collection includes archival documents, correspondence, memories, which illuminate the life and scientific path of the historian, ethnographer and economist Mitrofan Dovnar-Zapolski. Most of the documents, which are stored in the archives of Belarus, України, Lithuania and Russia have not been published before.
Well-known Chernihiv historians will take part in the presentation: доктор історичних наук, Professor Serhiy Lepyavko, Doctor of Historical Sciences Igor Kondratiev, which will be joined through the ZOOM-conference by the compiler of the publication Valentina Lebedeva (Myatlytska), доктор історичних наук, Professor Vasyl Ulyanovsky, scientific editors of the publication are Doctor of Historical Sciences Oleksandr Smolyanchuk and Candidate of Historical Sciences Andriy Kishtymov.
